Paradisean is more than just a name to us; it is a tapestry of our family's identity. At its heart, it is an anagram of Aspen and Adria, our twin daughters, whom we named after our passions.
The word itself evokes a sense of "paradise" — a tranquil, blissful sanctuary we hope this vessel provides as we navigate the world together. It also draws inspiration from the Bird of Paradise, a symbol of freedom and beauty that serves as the guiding compass for our visual identity.

Logo Design
We designed our logo to be viewed from two perspectives, mirrored across the two hulls of our catamaran.
From Left to Right (Port Hull): The silhouette honors the waʻa kaulua—the double-hulled canoe used by Polynesians to voyage across the Pacific. Look closely at the twin traditional crab claw sails, and you will find the Chinese character 羽 (Yǔ). Meaning "feather," it is the shared character in our daughters’ given names, woven into the fabric of our sails.
From Right to Left (Starboard Hull): The image transforms into a bird in flight, a nod to the Bird of Paradise and the grace with which we hope to explore the world.
